Jeff Schmidt Featured on the New Season of Mexico Life on HGTV

We are pleased to announce that Jeff Schmidt will be featured on the new season of Mexico Life on HGTV. Jeff’s episode launches season two of the series on Sunday, June 25th, 2017, with the episode titled Kickin’ It in Cabo. The show was shot in Cabo San Lucas with Jeff’s clients Chris, Stacey, and their son Connor.
Jeff showed the family three different communities in Cabo San Lucas: Ventanas phase 1, Puerto Cabo Village, and Ventanas phase 3b. The buyers’ wish list included close proximity to downtown and a minimum of two bedrooms within their maximum budget of $350,000.
The Communities
Ventanas phase 1 is located in the hills behind Costco and Walmart. This is the first phase of the popular Ventanas development, which the developers started about 10 years ago. It has single-family homes and condos. Buyers are attracted to this community because of its amenities in the central clubhouse. The amenities include multiple pools, a hot tub, fitness center, a park and play structure for children, a small convenience store, and 24-hour gated security.
Puerto Cabo Village is all about location. The development is downtown and just a 2-block walk to Medano beach, the most popular beach in Cabo San Lucas. All of the beach bars, along with the restaurants, shopping, and nightlife scene downtown, are within walking distance. On-site amenities include multiple pools and 24-hour gated security.
Ventanas phase 3b is one of the newest communities in Cabo San Lucas. It has similar amenities as Ventanas phase 1. This phase is located right next to phase 3, which has a club house that consists of a restaurant and sky lounge pool and bar for adults only. Phase 3b will also have a second clubhouse that owners can access, the main feature of which will be a Hacienda style spa.

Other Filming Locations
While filming the episode, Jeff and his clients enjoyed the great cuisine at SUR Beach House by Bar Esquina. They also visited the Cabo Bello beach, which is a great, family-friendly beach. Chris, Stacey, and Connor also enjoyed activities around town while filming, including stand up paddle boarding (SUP). All in all, it was a great time and the clients were so much fun to work with.
