As of 2024, the Coronado development is about 70% built out. This gives buyers the option of buying a brand new, fully constructed single-level home here in Cabo. These four- to six-bedroom homes are ideal because they are some of the few single-level homes in Cabo San Lucas.
If you prefer to build your own home in Coronado, you are required to build through the developer. Instead of bringing in your own builder, the developer will ensure that your new home meets your needs and maintains the look and feel of the community.
Jeff has been featured on several episodes of HGTV’s House Hunters International and Mexico Life. He has personally bought, sold, and built multiple properties in Cabo and also offers property management services.
One of the great advantages of buying a home in the Quivira developments is that the developer typically offers financing. For Coronado buyers, Quivira offers 10-year plans and appealing interest rates. Further, the developer will customize the financing plan to your unique needs in terms of down payments, balloon payments, and more. Financing is a great option for buyers that want to wait longer to sell an asset or know they will have additional funds incoming.
Owners in Coronado get access or discounts to a number of Quivira’s amenities, including the world famous Jack Nicklaus-designed Quivira Golf Club located at the tip of the Baja peninsula, offering gorgeous views of the Pacific and a luxurious golfing experience.
Owners also get access and discounts at the facilities of Cabo’s Pueblo Bonito resorts.
Homeowners’ association fees in Coronado start at about $600 per month, but depend on the location and size of the lot and home. Fees may be higher if buyers purchase access to Quivira’s famed golf courses or add other perks to their membership.
There are a number of Quivira developments in Cabo San Lucas. If Coronado isn’t right for you, one of the following communities may be better suited to your needs. Jeff can help you find the right property for you.
