Most of the homes in the Historic Art District do not have any amenities. However, many of the condo complexes offer some amenities. One perk of downtown San José is that it is walking distance to everything that city has to offer.
Homes in the Historic Art District don’t have HOA fees. If you purchase property in a community, you can expect to pay HOA fees.
The hotel zone is a popular area for tourists, known for its beachfront resorts and accommodations. This zone is situated along the coastline and offers easy access to the beautiful beaches of the region and is walking distance to the other areas of downtown San José Del Cabo.
The Historic Art District is located about a half-mile or 2 kilometers from the beaches in San José del Cabo. These historic homes and condos are surrounded by restaurants, bars, art galleries and other shopping stores. On Thursday evenings, the Art District hosts “The Art Walk,” an event in which the art galleries offer wine and open their doors to residents and guests. The majority of the artists are also on site to answer questions and discuss their art. The residents in this area get to enjoy all of the stores and restaurants that are within walking distance, as well as a short walk to the beach.
This is the main square and the heart of downtown San José del Cabo. It’s a picturesque place with a central gazebo, surrounded by colorful colonial buildings. You’ll often find local events and live music here, especially in the evenings.
The historic Church of San José (Iglesia San José) is an iconic landmark with its white facade and bell tower. It’s worth a visit both for its religious significance and architectural beauty.
Downtown San José del Cabo offers a wide range of dining options. You can find everything from traditional Mexican cuisine to international dishes. Some restaurants have beautiful courtyards or patios for outdoor dining.
The downtown area has a variety of shops selling Mexican crafts, jewelry, clothing, and souvenirs.
